I’m a biodesigner with seven years of experience in the field, specializing in researching living organism SCOBY and biomaterials from organic waste.

Last year, I explored the possibilities of coffee waste as valuable resource that can be repurposed to create biodiesel, high-quality heating bodies, and biomaterials.

Winner of the award for innovative idea for women’s entrepreneurship and winner of Balkan Green Ideas BiH for 2022.

My dedication to biodesign and innovation has led to numerous achievements, having my work exhibited in prestigious cities such as London, Ljubljana, Brno, Cologne, Belgrade, and several cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

My work with SCOBY has been preserved as an NFT – part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Contemporary Art RS.

My works have also been shortlisted for the best design at the International Student Biennale.

Additionally, I have exhibited my designs at the International Furniture and Interior Fair Imm Cologne as part of the Pure Talents platform for presenting young designers.

In 2022, I participated in the European Capital of Culture program, BIOFABRIKA, where I held lectures, workshops, exhibitions, and talks and discussions with artists, designers, and scientists about biodesign.

In 2019, I exhibited in Belgrade as part of the Young Balkan Designers platform and the Mikser festival. I have exhibited my work with SCOBY at the Museum of Science and Technology in Belgrade.

I am a co-founder of Bio Co Culture, a collaborative project aimed at educating a wider audience about biodesign and bioart throughout the Balkans.

Currently, I am lecturing on my research work in the field of biodesign and holding workshops on the production of biomaterials. I also give lectures on climate change, greenwashing, ecology, and zero-waste practices. With my expertise, I help companies to repurpose their waste, making a positive impact on the environment.

This year, I am focusing all of my research on developing products from biomaterials, including my first creation – BIOCANDLE made from eggshell waste.
